How Inner Spark Media collects, uses, and protects your personal information — including the AccessSpark auditing platform.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit, what pages they view, and what other sites they visited prior to coming here.

Google Analytics collects only the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit this site, rather than your name or other identifying information. IP addresses are anonymized before storage. We do not combine the information collected through Google Analytics with personally identifiable information.

Data we collect

If you submit the contact form, we collect your first name, last name, email address, company name (if provided), and message. This information is stored in HubSpot and used solely to respond to your inquiry.

Data sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to outside parties. Your data is never shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Cookies

Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish unique users and throttle request rates. These are first-party cookies set by Google Analytics. No advertising or tracking cookies are used on this site.

AccessSpark Web Auditing Platform

AccessSpark is a web accessibility auditing platform operated by Inner Spark Media. The AccessSpark Auditor Chrome Extension connects to this platform. When you use either product, the following data is collected:

Data collected

Account information: Your name and email address are collected at sign-up via Clerk and used solely to authenticate your account.

URLs audited: When you submit a URL for auditing, that URL is sent to AccessSpark servers to perform the accessibility scan. URLs are associated with your account and stored as part of your audit history.

Audit results: Accessibility findings, scores, screenshots, and page content captured during audits are stored on our servers and associated with your account.

Authentication tokens: The Chrome Extension stores a Bearer token locally in your browser to authenticate API requests to AccessSpark. This token is never shared with third parties.

Session data for authenticated scanning: If you choose to upload browser session data to audit pages that require a login, that data is transmitted securely to our servers and used solely to perform the requested audit. It is not stored beyond the duration of the audit.

How we use your data

All data collected through AccessSpark is used exclusively to provide the AccessSpark service — generating accessibility reports, maintaining your audit history, and enabling scheduled and authenticated audits.

Data sharing

We do not sell, transfer, or share your AccessSpark data with any third parties. Your audit data is never used for advertising or marketing purposes.

Data retention

Audit history is retained until you delete it from the AccessSpark dashboard or close your account. You can delete individual audits or your full history at any time.
